2nd Conference on State Fragility - Pandemics, Vaccination and Solidarity: Implications in Fragile Countries

The COVID-19 pandemic is a global threat and has a disproportionate impact on Fragile Countries, particularly those affected by conflicts, which are already the farthest left behind.

This conference will explore why national efforts have to be matched by international cooperation and solidarity to a successful fight against COVID-19 as well as to a fast-track vaccination of the world population, with a particular emphasis in countries affected by conflict and violence.

This global event will count with the participation of 19 speakers from 13 countries, including current and former members of governments, multilateral entities, academia, the private sector, media and civil society.

The sessions will be livestreamed on a platform (with simultaneous interpretation and mandatory registration here) and on Youtube here (with free access and only in English).

The event is organised by g7+ and Club of Lisbon that partner with Instituto Camões, Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, Instituto Marquês de Valle Flôr (IMVF) and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
