4th Lisbon Conference - new dates

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the 4th Lisbon Conference that was initially scheduled for May will take place on 30th September and 1st October 2020.

The acceleration of Global Change is increasingly affecting our environment and ways of life, with the future rushing into our present lives and forcing people, societies and political systems to cope with tomorrow’s realities – some of them hard to understand or even to acknowledge.

The 4th Lisbon Conference is focused on major drivers of change that are behind and that hinder or push forward the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Climate Change, Energy Transition, Technological Revolution, Growth Models, Demographic Trends, (Geo)Political Challenges - and not forgetting the global political and economic impacts of the current pandemic.

On 30th September and 1st October 2020, we will debate "The Acceleration of Global Change" at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. More information soon - and stay strong and safe.
