The acceleration of Global Change is increasingly affecting our environment and ways of life, with the future rushing into our present lives and forcing people, societies and political systems to cope with tomorrow’s realities – some of them hard to understand or even to notice.
The 4th Lisbon Conference is focused on focus the debate on major drivers of change that are behind, hinder or push forward the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development: Climate Change, Energy Transition, Technological Revolution, Growth Models, Demographic Trends, (Geo)Political Challenges.
Themes will be discussed in the framework of the 5P of the 2030 Agenda: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership – the latter addressed in a cross-cutting manner.

The Lisbon Conferences are organised by the Club of Lisbon with the CCIP - Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Municipality of Lisbon, IMVF - Institute Marquês de Valle Flor, ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute, SOFID - Development Finance Society, UCCLA - Lusophone Countries’ Capitals Union as partners and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation as host institution. The conferences are held under the high patronage of the Presidency of Portugal.
