The series is held from November 2024 to March 2025. The talks will address this issue through case studies - Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya and Central African Republic - to enable the reflection on practical examples of counteracting extremist narratives that incite to violence.
All sessions are from 2.30 to 5.00 pm, with a coffee-break.
The debates will be in English and/or Portuguese, with available translation. Participation is free.

The debates are focused on conflict prevention and resolution in Africa, bringing to the fore the instrumentalisation of religion to justify violence. Key international and national stakeholders will share their views on the role of interreligious dialogue in preventing violent extremism and in peacebuilding.
